This website is operated by the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON). Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to ISKCON. ISKCON offers this website, including all information, tools, and services available from this site to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies, and notices stated here.

By visiting our site and/or donating to us, purchasing something, or participating in our services, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms of Service”, “Terms”), including those additional terms and conditions and policies referenced herein and/or available by hyperlink. These Terms of Service apply to all users of the site, including without limitation users who are browsers, vendors, donors, customers, and/or contributors of content.

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before accessing or using our website. By accessing or using any part of the site, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions of this agreement, then you may not access the website or use any services. We are not responsible if information made available on this site is not accurate, complete, or current. We reserve the right to modify the contents of this site at any time, but we have no obligation to update any information on our site. Prices for our products and donations are subject to change without notice.

We reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue the Service (or any part or content thereof) without notice at any time.

SECTION 5 – PRODUCTS OR SERVICES (if applicable)

Certain products or services may be available exclusively online through the website. These products or services may have limited quantities and are subject to return or exchange only according to our Return Policy.

We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colors and images of our products that appear on the site. We cannot guarantee that your computer monitor's display of any color will be accurate.

We reserve the right but are not obligated, to limit the sales of our products or Services to any person, geographic region, or jurisdiction. We may exercise this right on a case-by-case basis. We reserve the right to limit the quantities of any products or services that we offer. All descriptions of products or product pricing are subject to change at any time without notice, at the sole discretion of us. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time. Any offer for any product or service made on this site is void where prohibited.

We do not warrant that the quality of any products, services, information, or other material purchased or obtained by you will meet your expectations, or that any errors in the Service will be corrected.


SECTION 6 – ACCURACY OF BILLING AND ACCOUNT INFORMATION

We reserve the right to refuse any order you place with us. We may, in our sole discretion, limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household, or per order. These restrictions may include orders placed by or under the same customer account, the same credit card, and/or orders that use the same billing and/or shipping address.

In the event that we make a change to or cancel an order, we may attempt to notify you by contacting the e‑mail and/or billing address/phone number provided at the time the order was made. We reserve the right to limit or prohibit orders that, in our sole judgment, appear to be placed by dealers, resellers, or distributors.

You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases made at our store. You agree to promptly update your account and other information, including your email address and credit card numbers and expiration dates so that we can complete your transactions and contact you as needed.


SECTION 7 – OPTIONAL TOOLS

We may provide you with access to third-party tools over which we neither monitor nor have any control nor input.

You acknowledge and agree that we provide access to such tools “as is” and “as available” without any warranties, representations, or conditions of any kind and without any endorsement. We shall have no liability whatsoever arising from or relating to your use of optional third-party tools.

Any use by you of optional tools offered through the site is entirely at your own risk and discretion, and you should ensure that you are familiar with and approve of the terms on which tools are provided by the relevant third-party provider(s).

These Terms of Service and any separate agreements whereby we provide you Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.


SECTION 15 – EVENTS BOOKING TERMS

By booking an event through our website, you agree to comply with our guidelines and policies. Registrations are confirmed only upon successful payment and receipt of confirmation.

We may cancel, reschedule, or change event details. In such cases, we will offer alternate options or a refund if applicable. Participant cancellations are subject to our Event Cancellation Policy. No-shows are non-refundable.


SECTION 16 – APPOINTMENTS AND CONSULTATIONS

Appointments must be honored at the scheduled time. Rescheduling must be done at least 24 hours in advance. Missed appointments may forfeit the fee. Consultations are for spiritual guidance and not professional or legal advice.


SECTION 17 – COURSES AND EDUCATIONAL OFFERINGS

Course registration is confirmed only after payment. Refunds are subject to course-specific policies. We may cancel or reschedule courses at our discretion. Course content is our intellectual property and must not be copied or redistributed. Participants must maintain appropriate behavior throughout.

SECTION 19 – ENTIRE AGREEMENT

The failure of us to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Terms of Service shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.

These Terms of Service and any policies or operating rules posted by us on this site or in respect to the Service constitute the entire agreement and understanding between you and us and govern your use of the Service, superseding any prior or contemporaneous agreements, communications, and proposals, whether oral or written, between you and us (including, but not limited to, any prior versions of the Terms of Service).

This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a transaction on our site, including booking events, courses, or appointments.


SECTION 1 – WHAT DO WE DO WITH YOUR INFORMATION?

When you purchase something from our store or register for an event, course, or appointment, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address, email address, and phone number.

When you browse our site, we also automatically receive your computer’s Internet Protocol (IP) address to help us learn about your browser and operating system.

Email marketing: With your permission, we may send you emails about our store, new products, upcoming events, or other updates.


SECTION 2 – CONSENT

How do you get my consent?

When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, register for a course, book an appointment, or arrange for a delivery or return, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only.

If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent, or provide you with an opportunity to say no.

How do I withdraw my consent?

SECTION 3 – DISCLOSURE

We may disclose your personal information if required by law or if you violate our Terms of Service.


SECTION 4 – PAYMENT

We use Razorpay for processing payments. Neither we nor Razorpay store your card data on their servers. The data is encrypted via the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS) during processing. Your purchase transaction data is only used as long as necessary to complete the transaction and is not saved thereafter.

Our payment gateway adheres to PCI-DSS standards as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council (a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover).

SECTION 5 – THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

In general, the third-party providers we use will only collect, use and disclose your information as necessary to perform the services they provide to us.

However, some third-party providers (such as payment gateways) have their own privacy policies regarding the information we must provide to them for your transaction.

We recommend that you read their policies to understand how your personal data will be handled.

Note that some third-party service providers may be located in jurisdictions different from yours or ours. So your information may become subject to the laws of those jurisdictions.

When you register for a course, event, or appointment through our platform, we may collect additional information such as:

  • Areas of interest (spiritual topics, seva, sadhana, etc.)
  • Attendance history or course completion
  • Preferences and special requests

This data is used solely to deliver personalized, relevant, and timely experiences to you. Your information will not be sold or used for unrelated purposes.

Return & Refund Policy

Physical Products

Our return policy lasts 7 days. If 7 days have passed since your purchase, we unfortunately cannot offer a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return:

  • The item must be unused and in the same condition as received.
  • It must be in the original packaging.
  • A receipt or proof of purchase is required.

Non-returnable items include (but are not limited to):

  • Perishable goods (e.g. food, flowers, prasadam, etc.) 
  • Flammable liquids or gases
  • Gift cards
  • Downloadable software or digital content
  • Opened CDs, DVDs, cassettes, or other media

Please do not send your purchase back to the us if it doesn't complies the above mentioned terms.


Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you by email whether your refund has been approved or rejected.

If approved, your refund will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to your original payment method within a few business days.

Late or missing refunds:

  • Check your bank account or credit card company again
  • Then contact your bank

Sale Items

Only regular-priced items may be refunded. Sale or discounted items are non-refundable.


Exchanges (if applicable)

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. For exchange requests, email us at support@jivadaya.org and send your item to:

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift during purchase and shipped directly to you, you will receive a gift credit for the value of your return.

If the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves, the refund will be issued to them and they will be notified.


Shipping

You are responsible for paying your own shipping costs for returning any item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

If your refund is approved, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

For items valued above ₹5000, we recommend using a trackable shipping service or insurance. We do not guarantee receipt of returned items.


Courses, Events, Appointments & Bookings

Event Tickets / Bookings (e.g., festivals, yajnas, retreats)

  • Cancellations requested 7 or more days prior to the event: 100% refund (excluding payment gateway fees)
  • Cancellations within 3–6 days of the event: 50% refund
  • Cancellations less than 72 hours before the event or no-show: No refund

Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 7 working days of approval.

Online/Offline Courses & Workshops

  • Refunds will be considered only if cancellation is requested within 48 hours of enrolment, and before accessing course material.
  • Once course material has been accessed or participation has begun, no refund will be issued.

Course enrolment is non-transferable, unless explicitly allowed by the event organizer.

Appointments / Consultations

  • Appointments may be rescheduled once with at least 24 hours' notice.
  • No refunds for missed appointments or cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled time.
