Today, a lady came to our temple for the very first time. She stopped at the book table and purchased nine books. Curious, I asked her what inspired her. She said her son loves reading and had recently watched the movie Mahavatar Narsimha, which he enjoyed very much.
I told her that this Narsimha movie is only a beginning — many more such films will come — but all of them originate from the Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam, the original source of these divine pastimes. I also shared that the Bhāgavatam is non-different from Lord Krishna Himself. Purchasing the Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam means welcoming Krishna into one’s home, inviting Him to personally reside there.
Hearing this, she became deeply inspired and immediately decided to take the full set of Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam. From a first visit to inviting Krishna Himself into her house — this is the mercy of Lord Nṛsiṁhadeva working in a devotee’s heart.
